Take a Kid Mountain Biking / Family Day
Sunday, September 27 · 9AM–12PM · Free
Join us for our Take a Kid Mountain Biking / Family Day on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM! Grab a freshly baked cinnamon roll before you hit the trail, courtesy of Cinnamon's Bakery Loveland Yards. From 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, ride the trails with your family and collect punches along the way to win prizes. Then, head back to the main festival area from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM for "Games on Bikes," hosted by Dude Dad (Taylor Calmus)! Challenges will feature the Slow Ride, Gear 1 Fast Pedal Sprint, and Foot Down.
Kids can complete a 6-stop Punch Card Challenge along the trails to earn raffle entries for awesome prizes, including a $500 Recycled Cycles gift card to pick out a new bike in the winner's size, Scheels gift cards, and a Fort Collins Museum of Discovery membership (up to $135 in value), plus all kids get a voucher for a kids ice cream sponsored by Walrus Ice Cream in Old Town.
This event is free to attend, and donations are encouraged to support the Overland Mountain Bike Association. Come celebrate a fun, active day on two wheels!
Thank you to our Take a Kid Mountain Biking Supporters: Recycled Cycles, Scheels, Walrus Ice Cream, Fort Collins Museum of Discovery, and Cinnamon's Bakery Loveland Yards!
For families with kids ages 4–16. Registering ahead is the quickest way in and helps us plan. Trail riding starts at 9AM; Games on Bikes starts at 11AM.
