Friday September 25 through Sunday September 27, 2026 at Inlet Bay Campground on Horsetooth Reservoir, just west of Fort Collins. Three full days of riding, demos, music, and camping right at the venue.

How do I get tickets?

All passes are sold through Humanitix, our ticketing partner — not on this site. Hit Get Your Pass anywhere on the site and it drops you straight into checkout, where every pass and camping option is listed together.

What's included in each festival pass?

Weekend Pro Pass ($125): demo bikes, the Poker Ride, group rides, shuttle rides, beverages, happy hours, and a swag bag. Weekend Social Pass ($95): Poker Ride, group rides, shuttle rides, beverages, happy hours, and a swag bag (no demo bikes). Demo-Only Pass ($85): unlimited demo bike check-outs plus a t-shirt or hat. Poker Ride Only ($35): entry to the Poker Ride. General Admission (free, $10–$20 suggested donation): vendor village, food trucks, and Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day. Demo bikes come with the Weekend Pro and Demo-Only passes.

What is a demo bike?

A free trial bike from one of our sponsor brands. Hand over your ID, sign a waiver, take the bike on real trails for an hour or two, then bring it back and try a different one. It's the easiest way to ride bikes you'd never otherwise throw a leg over.

Question 5

How many demo bikes can I ride, and can I reserve one?

There's no limit — take out 30 bikes across three days if you want, at no extra charge. But there are no advance reservations for specific bikes or sizes; it's first come, first served at each booth. We deliberately cap how many demo passes we sell, well below one pass per bike, so you're not stuck waiting on a size all afternoon. The one exception is brand-hosted group rides, where you sign up through the brand ahead of time and pick your bike in advance.

Do I have to pay a park entrance fee on top of my pass?

Yes. Horsetooth is a Larimer County park, so the county charges a per-vehicle entrance fee that is separate from your festival pass and separate from your campsite. A daily permit is $10 per vehicle ($20 if you're towing a boat trailer); annual permits start at $100 for county residents. You pay by phone using the county's Text2Park system — text LCPERMIT to 25023, or scan the QR code on the signage by the kiosk, then enter your license plate. The permit is tied to your plate, so there's nothing to print or display. You can pay before you arrive, but the county is clear that doing so does not guarantee you a parking space — the lots are first-come, so turn up early or take the shuttle.

Where do I park?

Attendee parking is on site at Inlet Bay, with an overflow circle lot by the fee booth. The Soderberg and Blue Sky trailhead lots fill early; South Bay Day Use has the most space and you can ride Bay to Bay over to the venue. We're also working on free shuttles from town. Every lot needs a Larimer County entrance permit.

Is there food on site?

Yes, all three days. Friday is breakfast and lunch service plus a coffee, iced coffee, and smoothie truck. Saturday is the full lineup — three trucks including barbecue and Mexican. Sunday keeps barbecue, Mexican, and the beverage truck. Friday food service wraps when the venue closes at 4pm. Campsites are powered if you'd rather cook your own.

How does the beverage tent work?

No cash and no card readers at the tent. You either wear a weekend wristband or buy beverage tickets when you check in, then hand those over at the tent. Non-alcoholic options are available too.

Are the trails closed during the festival?

Accepted Answer

No. Every trail stays open to the public all weekend, and they're all multi-use — hikers, runners, horses, and families who have no idea a festival is happening. Slow down, give people room, say hi.

What is a Poker Ride?

Accepted Answer

Part trail ride, part card game. Ride the course, hit five checkpoints, draw a card at each one. Best five-card hand at the end wins prizes from the sponsors. You don't have to be fast. You just have to finish.

How does camping work?

Accepted Answer

You book a camping type — Single Site, Van/Trailer, or Tent — not a specific numbered spot. Once you're registered, OMBA assigns your actual site and emails it to you before the festival. Camping runs both nights of the festival, Friday and Saturday, and includes access to all campground happy-hour events.

What are the camping site rules?

Tents are capped at an 8×8 ft footprint — good for a solid 4-person tent, no oversized pop-up "tent town" setups. Vans and trailers on shared sites max out at 25 ft, and RVs aren't allowed on shared sites. Want to bring an RV? Book a full Single Site instead — that one's yours alone, and RVs are welcome. Each shared site holds either one van/trailer plus two tents, or four tents total.

Do the campsites have power?

Yes — every site is powered. On shared sites (tent and van/trailer), you'll share the power hookup with the others assigned to your site, so bring a splitter and pack light on the high-draw gear. Book a Single Site if you'd rather not share.

Are there booking fees?

Humanitix adds a small per-ticket booking fee at checkout, on top of the pass price. It goes to Humanitix for running the ticketing platform, not to the festival — you'll see the full total before you pay.

Can I ride with my child during Take-a-Kid MTB-ing?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Take a Kid Mountain Biking / Family Day is built for families with kids ages 4–16 — Sunday, September 27 from 9AM–12PM. Designed for families to enjoy at their own pace, it mixes self-guided trail riding with continuous skills challenges like the Slow Ride, Gear 1 Fast Pedal Sprint, and Foot Down Arena. Kids can complete a 6-stop Punch Card Challenge across the trails and game stations to earn raffle entries for prizes, including a new bicycle sponsored by Recycled Cycles and Scheels gift cards, and every kid gets a popsicle and a voucher for a kids ice cream sponsored by Walrus Ice Cream in Old Town. Check-in is open all morning, so drop in anytime. It's free to attend — registering your kids in advance on Humanitix is the quickest way in and lets us plan for the day. Donations are encouraged and support Overland Mountain Bike Association.

What are the riding options?

Horsetooth Mountain Open Space and the adjoining Lory State Park trail network give you 75+ miles of singletrack right from Inlet Bay Campground, across all skill levels. Mellow doubletrack, flowy intermediate loops, and proper black-diamond chunk if that's your thing. We'll have suggested loops marked.

How do I sign up for the skills clinics?

The Friday · Sept 25 clinics are coached by Ninja Mountain Bike Performance, and for insurance reasons you register and pay with Ninja directly — they're not part of any festival pass and aren't sold on Humanitix. Straight back into Northern Colorado trails. Every dollar funds trail building, re-routes, and education through the Overland Mountain Bike Association. You're not buying a ticket. You're funding singletrack.
